Realme U1 gets a price cut in India, now starts at Rs 9,999

This is for the base model with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The 4GB/64GB variant which was launched at Rs 13,499 is now available for Rs 11,999. The smartphone touts a 25MP selfie camera that offers sharp and detailed selfies. It also gets a 13MP + 2MP dual camera setup similar to the Realme 3. Realme recently announced that the Realme U1 will get the Nightscape feature that was introduced with the Realme 3 (Review). Nightscape is a dedicated mode for low-light photography, offering impressive photos in dimly lit conditions by increasing the shutter along with some AI help.As for everything else, the Realme U1 sports a 6.3-inch FHD+ waterdrop display with a 90.8 per cent screen-to-body ratio. It is the first device to come with the octa-core Helio P70 chipset based on a 12nm process.
