We made it ourselves.”The promotion is called “Gelato July” and it’s a tie-in to national ice cream month. Gelato is similar to ice cream in taste, but has a smoother, creamier texture since it is made with whole milk. It’s also lower in calories than regular ice cream. Peterbrooke offers a wide variety of gelato flavors, including strawberry cheesecake, mint chocolate and fan-favorite salted caramel.Peterbrooke has been running the promotion for the last six years and they’ve given out over 55,000 Gelato scoops so far.Peterbrooke Chocolatier is located at 1530 McFarland Boulevard North and is open from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on Monday through Saturday.last_img read more
