GAA NEWS: NAOMH COLMCILLE CLUB NOTES

first_imgThe club dinner dance was held on Friday night at the Station House Hotel, Letterkenny. The special Guest was Mark McHugh (Donegal’s All-Star winner). John Fullerton, Conor Grant and Martin Devenney received the awards for young player of the year, most improved, and player of the year respectively for the reserves. The senior honours went to Willie Gillespie (young player of the year), Don Hegarty (most improved), and Ryan McErlean (player of the year). Thomas McKinley and Willie Gillespie received recognition awards for their involvement with the Donegal senior and minor county teams. Sean and Mary Grant accepted an award on behalf of their son, Liam, to mark his recent selection as an Asian Gulf games All-Star recipient. The victorious senior team also received their Division 4 league winners medals. Sharon Monaghan received a special award for her services to the club.
